"Don't lie, this place doesn't look like that. Just a typical pub. However, it has a very inexpensive and tasty menu. We went twice because we were so impressed. It has some of the best puddings we had in a while and they were huge. I ordered a steak that was seldom cooked and they were not disappointed. Would definitely come back. The staff was also really nice"

"This is the second time I've been in and both times have been lovely-great food and friendly staff. I'm vegetarian, not vegan, but try to make as many vegan choices as possible, and cafes like this make it so easy to eat vegan! We had the soup and sandwich combo and it was so tasty and filling. And wow I haven't had a better coffee in a long time! Oh and the cake is glorious. I've found vegan cake is often quite dry but this was super moist and decadent without being too sweet. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area."

"This is very over rated and the hype is not worth it. They are in a new location sharing anther restaurant. But it was touted as some great seafood and was very sub-par. The atmosphere is hot and stuffy. Service was good and friendly. The menu was good just most of the food was marginal. Was really looking forward to a special night out but this was not it."
