very quiet when we are drawn as a fast stop on a road trip. it has a small book exchange and interesting Nick snacks everywhere. definktely looked like it was a cooler place to sit down, but unfortunately these facilities were temporarily closed during the pandemic. the gentleman behind the counter was very nice and the coffee was good, but the paninis we ordered were overcooked and very hard. What User doesn't like about Jj's Cafe:
This is a decent enough cage to stop off at, reasonable prices. The child's meal my daughter had was a generous portion. I had the pork roll special with stuffing and apple sauce. I felt it lacked in the air sauce area with what appeared to be a tea spoon of it in the bin View all feedback.

Food was awfull. Sausage was mush in armoured skin. Only part of breakfast passable was bacon. Surroundings in cafe were dour to say the least. Avoid if you can

I went in and almost got out! Very dated and slightly dark, but boy the food!!! Amazing food had only 1 meal when leaving the next day, but brother who can cook...

"We didn’t have a booking but the restaurant fitted us in which we really appreciated. We were not disappointed the food was exceptional and so was the service. The menu is small, but perfect. We all ordered a different main course and none of us were disappointed. I have a starter again, beautiful and the rest of the party a dessert again fantastic. The complimentary soup was a nice touch too. It was the first evening of our stay and it could not have been any better. A really great restaurant. Thank you."

"Crannog 100% excellent food outstanding, service second to none, restaurant set up, views and ambiance perfect. You will need to book ahead for this very popular eatery. Although very busy, you will experience personal and attentive care from the waiting staff, a vibrant though quiet restaurant and melt in your mouth food. The menu has a wide selection with everything cooked with fresh and local ingredients and to a very, very high standard. I am sorry that I did not take any photos of our meal but do go this easily missed excellent seafood restaurant. Shout out to Angie and Naomi who went above and beyond to ensure we had a special time (I think this is their priority for all diners!"
