As it was, our table of six chose two kids meals, two starters and two burgers.
Amazing setting, view, staff, service and food.
We enjoyed two appetizers.

"We didn’t have a booking but the restaurant fitted us in which we really appreciated. We were not disappointed the food was exceptional and so was the service. The menu is small, but perfect. We all ordered a different main course and none of us were disappointed. I have a starter again, beautiful and the rest of the party a dessert again fantastic. The complimentary soup was a nice touch too. It was the first evening of our stay and it could not have been any better. A really great restaurant. Thank you."

"What a nice hotel. we thought there was only coffee and cake while we were buried on the hole, but we were pleasantly surprised by the service and our food. the building and the grounds are beautiful, full of character and magnificent view over the hole. the staff was very friendly and helpful. only a minute walk through the forest area are the ruins of the old castle. many parking spaces in the hotel when they drive."

"Worth every penny. Stay at this castle . We loved it . My 11 yr old daughter loved it. Great place great service . Just go for it you only live once . Rooms: We stayed in two different rooms the Queens room was over the top . Yes it’s a castle . So authentic is a key motif but we really enjoyed staying the night. Nearby activities: Ben Nevis hike , the distillery tour all close by. We left here and went to Isle of Skye so a close stop before heading out or coming back Walkability: Great quick hikes around the property even pouring rain you are under the tree cover and don’t get wet. Food drinks: The Chef experience was great . 5 course . Really delicious . Even if you aren’t on that track always , go for it . Also go for a whisky after dinner in the lounge."
