What User doesn't like about Tropical Smoothie Cafe:
Tried this location Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon. BOTH times I have found long nasty hair in my food. I didn’t take a picture of the ones from Saturday, but here is the one from today. I couldn’t even finish my meal. My husband also had hair in the wrapper of his food. We will not be going back. View all feedback.
The staff should be more attentive when taking orders and the management needs to improve their response to correcting mistakes. They did not address or refund my order which was supposed to have the beyond option but instead had chicken.
I ordered a Strawberry Kiwi smoothie and it was enjoyable. While not as fresh as Juiceland, it was definitely a much better option than Smoothie King or Jamba Juice.
I love this restaurant and have been to it a few times, mostly when I am out of state. I am glad I found it. The chicken is really good and tastes like meat. However, they do have bacon on some of the items (like the Cali flatbread), so be sure to ask for a menu. I took off the bacon and substituted chicken, and it was amazing.
All menu items with chicken can be changed for beyond meat at no extra charge making all of the menu vegetarian suitable and most of the menu vegan friendly. My favorite is the Thai wrap! The smoothies are wonderful and also mostly vegan, they carry several vegan protein options for those interested in that.,
They have made a smoothie lover out of me! The Sunrise The Acai are amazing! One day, I'll try some of the others, too! :D
