First time to order from tuk tuk, and it was fantastic. So fresh, technically executed perfectly. Pad thai , crispy wings, steamed wonton and a really wonderful Tom Yum Kong, plenty of shrimp and proportioned flavor profile. I'll be ordering often. View all feedback.
What Terry J doesn't like about Tuk Tuk Thai:
Food is absolutely delicious. We ordered the crab Rangoon, chicken lettuce wraps for our starters and both were soooo good. My Sis ordered the Fried rice and she really enjoyed it. I ordered the chicken curry and Pad Thai. Had planned on taking left overs home for lunch. Pad Thai never arrived. Uggggh. Here again is where my frustration is with service which changes the overall rating. Our food arrived quickly, though... View all feedback.
We had the lunch special curry it was so tasty and delicious! Would recommend level 3 spice if you like some heat but also like finishing your meal. Give it a try if you haven't already.Food: 5/5
Just visited once. Strip mall Thai food. Average neighborhood Thai experience I’d say. Nothing particularly great or bad.I will note that I asked for medium spice level on two dishes and they came back pretty spicy. Maybe we just got the angry chef that day. ? I suspect that if I read through the other reviews someone will have said the exact opposite.
I ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice. The chicken tasted like yesterday's shoe leather. The Pineapple was a disgusting tasteless mass. When I brought this to the attention of the waitress/owner, she pacified us by taking 10% off of our bill. After tasting the Pineapple herself, and agreeing with me.The Tom Kai Gai was also pedestrian. The chicken was the same shoe leather that was in my Pineapple Fried Rice. The green curry tasted like the The Thai version of Ragú, and also had the same shoe leather. Sadly, I had ordered chicken lettuce wraps to go prior to tasting the food. This was my worst Thai dining experience.
Wonderful fresh food. The cucumber salad was nice and crunchy. Loved the egg drop soup. My husband said his curry was excellent. BYO and plenty of parking! My SoundPrint app showed an average of 68 dB (quiet , with the dining room about 65% full. The dining room was not impressive, and the service a little spotty (forgot the appetizers, had to ask for water, had to wait for the check... Hearing the phone ring periodically for take out orders was mildly annoying. However, we'll be back with our favorite wine (wine glasses were provided, no corkage .
Highly recommend. Outstanding authentic Thai cuisine with vegetarian options.Vegetarian options: Tofu and mushroom Pat Thai.
