Contribute FeedbackOverall, J. Theodore offered a pleasant dining experience, although service was not as professional as expected. Some reviewers felt rushed to place their food orders and were not impressed by the quality of the dishes. However, there were positive comments about the friendly and attentive staff, as well as the delicious food served. The restaurant's ambience was also praised, with special mentions of the music and outdoor seating by the fireplaces. While there were some hiccups in terms of service and food quality, many patrons still enjoyed their time at J. Theodore and expressed a desire to return.
Service was okay, I was told that it is necessary to specify the seat when booking. the restaurant was empty at 4:30 and they sat four pairs in front. the room was very cramped an impossible to conduct a personal conversation. they took us up when they were asked to sit at the stand near the back. we said we were sitting at 6:30 a.m. they said if we could finish our dinner in 2 hours, they would change our seats.
I did it for brunch. great atmosphere and fantastic eating. lobster benedict has not disappointed! definitely recommend!
We had a nice time out, for my sister in laws birthday. We were seated at a table that hadn’t been wiped down yet, but our server was excellent and got it done right away. She was excellent. (Caitlyn) but the food was a bit disappointing. The menu looked great and made us want to try everything, but I don’t think the final result compared to the description on paper. Not absolutely terrible, but was expecting a little higher quality to match the level of expectations.
Food was really good, the cake was delicious , huge but is served cold
Good food and service. Music a smidge too loud for brunch not a nite club at 10am on Sunday. They wouldn’t let us in 5 mins early to get out of an unusually cold morning. Food and service were highlight, and ambience was good but for loudness.
