"Wenn ein (bekannter) Koch aus Detmold (Matthias Althof) sich nach Valendas verirrt, wird das einen Grund haben... Erstklassige Küche, die sich nirgendwo verstecken muss, mit lokalen Einflüssen kombiniert. Ein Traum für uns... und für alle einen Versuch wert. Ach ja, die liebe Elvira war natürlich auch ein wichtiger Grund. Man könnte sich im schönen Italien oder in London oder NY befinden... zum Glück sind wir in Graubünden (Schweiz) und erfreuen uns am lokalen Couleur! Immer wieder! Und es ist das Lieblingsrestaurant meiner Tochter... wegen den besten Raviolis der Welt!!!"

"Our stay was fantastic, we enjoyed the time in the sauna, steaming room and outdoor pool, we had a good dinner with 5 courses, we were hungry and the portions were not enough from the first 2, but the 3rd was a buffet salad, that was perfect! They have a cozy bar where live music was played and the breakfast was more than perfect. Nothing to complain about the room and service."

"‍ Guarda Val is a gem out of the chaos of the world. It's a small alpine village where various separated buildings belong to the hotel. So in the village/hotel you have for free: parking, small sauna, relaxing area, a hot tub, a shuttle to Lenzerheide(which is 30 mins walk) and two restaurants... The atmosphere is relaxed and the view from the village is outstanding. The staff is absolutely the top: kind, well prepared and smiling. ..just strongly recommend it.."
