Forno Dourado - Funchal

The restaurant is very conveniently positioned on a main street up from the waterfront. There is a very persuasive man outside who gets diners to eat there. We had a tuna salad and Hawaiian pizza, which unfortunately were very average.

Dreadful service long wait for food and drinks only half my meal turned up place was just ripping people off Several people around us had the same poor service

Ordered a chicken salad as a main meal. I was appalled when it arrived, it comprised of limp lettuce leaves, a couple of slices of cucumber, one a half cherry tomatoes, a couple of pieces of pepper, a couple of slices of onion and a dozen kernels of sweetcorn and a few pieces of torn chicken thrown together. No dressing at all I couldn’t get the waiters to understand what dressing meant. Very disappointing

A very pushy man tries to get you to eat here and eventually we thought we would give it a try. As the evening was a bit chilly we went inside where there is a large, rather bland room upstairs. I was very underwhelmed by my pizza and service was a bit slow.
