"My man and I love being sworn. we stumbled over this place three years ago on our first wedding anniversary and as a tradition on the way back. the hump spices are delicious! ribeye has always cooked to perfection. the coffee is great with the signature chocolate cake. if they are looking for the perfect jubilee restaurant, it is."

"Amazing restaurant! We visited during our honeymoon and the staff were so accommodating and friendly. The service went above and beyond what I expected. All of the food was exquisite, the prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food, and the drinks were great as well. The view is stunning as well, try to sit by the window if you are able."

"WOW! This is one of the best absolute best meals we have had in Galveston and the top 3 meals ever! Small, quaint, quiet atmosphere with an excellent view of the island. The sunset view is supposed to be amazing, but we had a rainy day. We started with a French onion amuse bouche. I decided to go for their restaurant week menu, which is a 3 course meal benefitting Galveston ISD. I had the she crab soup that was perfectly creamy crabby. My entree was a stuffed red fish with saffron risotto. It was well cooked and delicious. My fish needed a touch of salt, but it was still excellent. I completed my meal with their opera cake for dessert. My husband had their lobster bisque. It was tasty, but lobster was slightly overcooked. He enjoyed the ribeye, which was cooked to a perfect medium rare and well seasoned. My husband ordered their truffle potatoes, which were amazing! The sauces they had with them were fire! He finished his meal with their raspberry soufflé which was absolute perfection! Our meals were timed out perfectly, and presentation was on point. Our server, Joshua, was phenomenal! He was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend for a romantic date night! Prices were fair, and we agreed it wasn't over"

"OH MY! I picked this place solely based on the fact that they had escargot. I got dressed up because it seemed seemingly upscale due to the pricing. Don't be fooled! It is more casual than I thought, but still so very nice inside despite what you see on the outside. I made it for happy hour and got 2 cocktails: the cucumber martini was refreshing and delicious! The old fashioned was full the the brim and so worth every penny! I was able to get a cup of chowder on the happy hour as well. My lord! Best soup I've had in ages. Great pieces of clams, fish and BIG gulf shrimp! Not to mention how crazy and flavorful. Definitely burned my mouth because I couldn't wait. The escargot was just as good if not better than the ones I've had at authentic French restaurants. Such good, buttery, garlicy morsels! Then the soft shell crab was superb as well but I was so full I could barely manage it. Of course I had to see if their sugar-free cheesecake was anything like the one my grandma whipped up and threw in the fridge. NO. It was LEGIT, thick, creamy and decadent as you would expect a full sugar cheesecake to be. Can't wait to get back to the hotel and eat it while I soak in the bath tub! Thank you, Taylor for a wonderful pre-birthday dinner and the great guidance and service!"
