"A sweet little restaurant that was so different inside than out. A quaint lovely restaurant decorated with many items available for purchase from local craftsmen. The service was great! The food was delicious as eas the homemade Apricot lemonade. The Cod Cakes and burger were fabulous and the Flaky Dessert was a lovely finish to a great meal!"

"Took close to an hour to get our order taken wait for the food that wasn't anything spectacular. A waitress told us many tables had been forgotten. Maybe on another day it could of been a great experience but after leaving our table and seeing the lineup out to the lobby I think not."

"A few weeks ago working here, have been diagnosed with celiac disease for several years. all employees understand cöliakie and meet several precautions to avoid cross-contamination (separated area of the kitchen, hand washes, separate toaster etc). all on the menu has a gluten-free option for a fair price. Typically on gluten-free order, we only have one member working on it while others work on non-glue-free ordering to best prevent cross-contamination."

"As expected for A&W. Always a good choice if you're looking for fast food. Quality is as expected for A&W. They offer table service which is a nice change from some other locations. Food came quickly and was exactly what was ordered. The only thing I have found with this location is that they occasionally run out of certain items later in the day."

"Our family would like to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to the outstanding staff and management at Swiss Chalet Gander. Heather, Donald and Angie (and the rest of the staff) are exceptional representatives of this restaurant company. Our son has anaphylactic allergies to dairy and nuts, and Swiss Chalet’s excellent allergy program means it’s the ONLY restaurant we know about that he can safely eat at in Canada. On our first visit about a month ago, the staff accommodated over our 30 hockey players and parents with less than 2 hours notice, allowing our son to safely eat in a restaurant with his hockey team for the 1st time ever. Our server Heather and manager Don were exceptional and attentive hosts, and our family and team were sincerely grateful. On our 2nd visit yesterday, we were lucky to be served by Heather again, and she remembered our son’s allergy AND HIS ORDER from over a month ago! We are so impressed and thankful to these wonderful people for their outstanding professionalism and incredible customer service. The food was, as always, excellent and the service was authentic, genuine, and first rate. We highly recommend the Gander Swiss Chalet/Harvey’s; exceptional people should be recognized and celebrated for the value they add to their patrons and their company. My son said he doesn’t remember his first Swiss Chalet meal, but that he will never forget this meal, because of the service. Thank you from us all."
