What Dan Eakins doesn't like about Rick's Smokehouse Barbecue:
The food was good and I was there during a slow time, around 5 pm. The owner took my order after not recognizing me being there for about 5 minutes. They were out of unsweet tea, I dont drink sodas, so there was no other drink option since I purchased a drink read more.

At Rick's Smokehouse Barbecue in Garland, tasty grilled food is freshly grilled on an open flame and garnished with delicious sides, Besides the fine sandwiches, healthy salads and other snacks also make a good snack. Everything was really good! But only toasting one side of Texas toast was like half raw bread.

"Where do I begin? When you walk in, you’re immediately treated like family. The atmosphere is so friendly and relaxing that you feel right at home! The service is impeccable! The owner and the staff are incredibly nice and helpful. You can tell they truly care about their customers. Now, the food is unbelievable! I’m Ukrainian, and my husband is American. We both couldn’t have been happier with the food! We ordered A LOT (beef tongue, Russian style herring, borscht, Turkish liver, manti, plov, lamb ribs kebab, buckwheat kasha with mushrooms, and Napoleon). Every dish was so spectacular that we had to come back for dinner the next day! Sadly, we live 4 hours away, but this will be our only go-to restaurant every time we’re in Dallas!"

"First time here. I would 've given this spot a 5 stars for flavor and texture, but the biscuits come with flaked salt on top which makes it a little to salty for me. Hopefully there 's an option for no flaked salt and I didn 't know it?‍. That 's just a personal opinion, but I 'll definitely be back for the sweets!!"
