My coworker and I are in town for some work-training and decided to check this place out. We both got steamed spring roll appetizers and curry bowls; mine red/shrimp and his yellow/shrimp. Though a little on the smaller side for a $16 dish, the food was delicious and delivered promptly by knowledgeable and friendly staff in a beautiful wood-themed traditional Thai house. What A E doesn't like about Thai House Gastonia:
Since Thai Khao San closed, we thought we would give this place a whirl. We just wanted a small late night shrimp spring roll and maybe some sushi. We got there about 20 minutes before they closed and the owner/manager greeted us and said they were only accepting to-go orders. Thai House Gastonia is not closed. They just have new ownership. I still get incredible take out every week. Oh and they have sushi.
The sushi is really good. I had the tuna shrimp roll which is nice and crunchy. I like their tuna nigiri, very fresh! But my fave is the panang curry....
