"Nothing but good things to say about split rail eats! on the first day we came Sunday, 5th juni, was amazing. the bank and the staff were respectful and answered all the questions we had. we came to the breakfast, so we had to enjoy their potter bowl and the stacked farm bird. at our second visit on Wednesday 8th juni, we had lunch and the same wonderful time with the staff and eating. john helped us find out what we wanted to eat for lunch, then again for ice, and again, when we got chicken pliers to go, he was super amazing! it was really a blessing to find a place with so good food and good people. would highly recommend this place to everyone and we will gladly go back when in the city!"

"The place looked good from outside and inside. The hosts were polite and attentive too. But we felt that the food was overrated. We were a group of 8 4 adults and 4 kids. We could not find even a single item that had chicken. There was no chicken they would serve. Another thing we noticed is that the reviews said it had Mediterranean food but there was barely anything other than few slices of pitta bread and hummus. Another thing was that none of the items were cooked at that time. Everything felt like pre prepared and just put together for a presentation. The quantities were extremely disappointing for the price we paid. Be it salmon bruschetta or zucchini pasta or flatbread everything was so little and at the same time not great in taste. I would not visit this place again."

"Absolutely DELICIOUS Bbq and I couldn't love the story of how this place got started more! Best mom and pop place in the Smokies!!! We are from Ohio and we can't wait to come back!! Such hospitality as well, all who worked there were so sweet, kind and very helpful! The brisket, burnt ends and chicken were ALL delicious, and don't even get me started on the sides, YUMMM! A joyful experience all around! See y'all next time! Much love from Ohio!!"
