Gatlinburg vegan game is weak. it is a vegan desert here and mellow mushroom is quite the only solid option for a warm vegan lunch. the menu is not marked for vegan options, so they need to adjust their order to make it vegan. 1) I started with “I’m a vegan” and the personal helped me order from there. What User doesn't like about Mellow Mushroom:
our server was quite possible, one of the worst servers we ever had. had absolutely no idea what was on the menu, what vegan meant, etc. we would ask and he would literally stare at us for 5-10 seconds. he forgot the dishes, brought us the wrong food several times, and seemed extremely airborne. the manager had to intervene more than once. positiw is that the pizza itself was very good. they have vegan cheese, tempo... Yummy pizza and many vegan options. The crust is light and delicious. The vegan pizza was just as good. Friendly staff. Nice big place which can get busy but big enough to accommodate a lot of people. Drink are ok. The cocktails are served in tumbler, (the tumblers are keepsakes and you pay $5 for each tumbler. That is not optional which is a bummer as I did not want a tumbler) In fairness this is listed on the menu but we did not see it.
People are very friendly, there are dog friendly for the patio. We got our small nice small dog with us. The food also was so yummy and big portions!
Second time after Mellow Mushroom because the first time was so good. This place has a large second story view of the alley and the main resistance. There is an elevator at the back of the alley. The staff was efficient and even let me try some tap drinks. A small pizza is the perfect size for two people who made a few moonlight samples and a lot of walking. 10/10
After a long day of walking and moon shine sampling at the local distilleries. Pizza hits the spot. Their was no wait and staff is friendly . The pizza here is fresh, made to order and comes out fast. I did not have any adult beverages here but they have a huge bar. If you're looking for a quick Pizza fill up after a long day in Gatlinburg this place will get you what you need in a hurry.
So I went on their website ahead of time. Scroll to the bottom and you can click 'Vegan ' and it will actually tell you what is vegan so you don 't have to mess around asking waiters. Also, when I went just two days ago and today both waiters knew exactly what Vegan was and wanted to make sure my order was correct and were very friendly. I 'll definitely be back on our next trip. They have large Vegan pretzels, vegan cheese to go with the Vego pizza, yummy. Greek salad and another one. More I believe but didn 't have a chance to try
