"We spent an evening at the Fig Tree for a birthday celebration this is a gem of a restaurant. The food was spectacular and cooked to perfection. The pictures speak for themselves. "Staff were attentive, dined on a monday so quiet but food came out quickly. Bread and butter starter which is enough for 2. Fish and chips was great, great portion size and very well cooked. Would recommend."

"Amazing!!! Unfortunately their coffee machine wasn’t working so I was unable to try their Biscoff Latte which I had heard so much about, but the lovely waiter recommended the Biscoff Shake instead which was possibly the best shake I’ve ever had!!! I ordered the Shicken Caesar wrap which came with chips and a side salad and was absolutely delicious! Amazing service and amazing food! Highly recommend!"

"This was such a special treat! A really fantastic afternoon tea with delicious sandwiches, scones and cakes … plenty too! We were very looked after by the two guys who run it …. They were really accommodating too as although we had booked a table, we had forgotten to specify it was for afternoon tea. They made it especially for us which we really did appreciate! It’s a lovely little find, and well deserves great reviews. Will definitely be back! So much nicer than many big hotels that lack atmosphere and serve mediocre food … this was 5 stars!!"
