With my wife, daughter-in-law and Granddaughter we sort out a lunch spot that had views of the bay, winter lunch and understood under 2's can be demanding. Alll our expectations were met with great food, great service and a pleasant outlook outsde but remarkably warm with the glass wind shields protecting us. View all feedback.
What Hunter Wunsch doesn't like about The Geelong Boat House:
Expensive and low quality. You would think that being right on the Geelong coast, that they would use fresh, local fish. Instead the calamari rings were those frozen, reconstructed fish type. The fish was poorly cooked, chips were OK, salad was dirty and the layout is poor. Very sub-par, then you realise this is meant to be the best fish and chips in Geelong... View all feedback.
if they like over fat fish and chips, this place is for them! scollops were roe. over price for fatty food that only slips thru her hand
Limited menu but Barra was quite fresh. Lemon pepper squid was also very tender. We called ahead to order takeaway, queues can get long. Menu on their Facebook...
