What User likes about Mike's Place:
This is a place you won't want to miss if you are in Gibsons or anywhere nearby. The sandwiches are great and on fabulous sourdough bread. The main event is the ice cream and gelato. They offer 68 flavors, all made on site and, believe me, they are delicious. Unfortunately, we were just in town for a day and didn't get to sample them all, but we sure tried. What User doesn't like about Mike's Place:
We stopped in for a treat while touring around Gibsons. It was a quiet afternoon and the gelato counter was not at all busy. The young woman scooping the gelato barely made eye contact or made any effort to speak. A simple hello would have made a difference. Clearly she does not enjoy her position. Too bad.
