This place came highly recommended by some friends so we thought we'd try it. It was about a 45 min drive for us but was well worth it!! We arrived right at 11am on a Saturday and it filled up quickly. We sat outside as we had our dog with us. We tried the brisket, pork, sausage links and Mac n cheese! All were very tasty as flavorful. My personal fav was the brisket with the spicy bbq sauce. Definitely will be back! View all feedback.
wow, wow, wow, wow! the el general patton can be the best bbq sandwich I've ever had. certainly the best bbq in az! do not miss this place.
Best BBQ in the east valley, hands down. Better than Rudy's. Better than Bobby Q's. Also, I smoke a pretty good brisket but it does not come close to Caldwells...
