"Food was bad, most of the starter dishes pre cooked and appear at your table in 2-3 minutes. Lamb was terrible, wine list is pretty bad. Tiramisu was made by somebody who never ate a tiramisu before. No idea why this place has good ratings. Just avoid. We spent couple of hundred pounds for dinner and the experience was like visiting a burger stand at the mall."

"Went for lunch again. never a bad meal, What pubs used to be family run free house where everyone is treated as a friend, They have got the balance right bewteen being friendly, chatty without being smarmy. "For the second time I was in this beautiful restaurant, this time it was a special trip on the train of exeter to celebrate 28 years ago. we were not disappointed that we had a wonderful lunch, service and eating and general ambiente are excellent. we will certainly visit again, hopefully soon. sherbourne is lovely. visit her and enjoy a meal in this special restaurant."
