"Food was bad, most of the starter dishes pre cooked and appear at your table in 2-3 minutes. Lamb was terrible, wine list is pretty bad. Tiramisu was made by somebody who never ate a tiramisu before. No idea why this place has good ratings. Just avoid. We spent couple of hundred pounds for dinner and the experience was like visiting a burger stand at the mall."

"Went for lunch again. never a bad meal, What pubs used to be family run free house where everyone is treated as a friend, They have got the balance right bewteen being friendly, chatty without being smarmy. The food is excellent cooked by daughter and wife.large tasty portions My favourite is the lemon roulade have it every time The landlord grows much of the vegetables himself Even writing this is making me hungry."

"For the second time I was in this beautiful restaurant, this time it was a special trip on the train of exeter to celebrate 28 years ago. we were not disappointed that we had a wonderful lunch, service and eating and general ambiente are excellent. we will certainly visit again, hopefully soon. sherbourne is lovely. visit her and enjoy a meal in this special restaurant."
