The food and drinks were amazing. My Long Island, pictured below, was actually almost the same price as my food...$5 for a half liter drink and just over five for my salad and chicken tender appetizer which was half price at happy hour. Definitely recommend for an inexpensive and delicious meal! Thanks Black Horse, we'll be back!
I stopped in on a Friday night, the place was pretty empty but still comfortable. I haven't tried any of the food, but drinks are very affordable and the owner was kind.
I was not expecting much when we stumbled upon this restaurant, but I am so glad we did! The food we had today was fantastic. We tried the Bond Burger, a half-pound burger topped with plenty of Provolone and Speck - it was amazing! We also had the Crandon Steak Hoagie, which featured delicious steak mixed with spicy peppers and onions, all smothered in Provolone cheese. And let's not forget the Fair Style Fries - they were the perfect accompaniment to our meal. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you if you give this place a try!
We recently had a reunion for our Girard High School class of 1979, celebrating 40 years since graduation. It was a fantastic time! The restaurant graciously closed off to the public until 6:00, allowing us to have our party in peace. Despite it being a busy Saturday night, they accommodated us without any issues. At 6 p.m., they reopened to the public and even had live music playing. The food was delicious and perfect for our event. It was wonderful to reconnect with around 60 of our former classmates.
The food and service at this restaurant were excellent. All of the dishes and appetizers we tried were delicious, especially the new fried bites with jalapenos and cream cheese.
