What Michèle Girard doesn't like about Big Slope:
Not a bad pub, but that's down to atmosphere. The food menu has perhaps one or two vegan options, but when our food order arrived we were not given knives or forks nor a napkin, so there are a few things that could be improved. But a decent pub none the less View all feedback.
Lovely staff, perfect meal, good music, prices are ok. Lucky, the dog is cute. Highly recommend the place
Came here with a friend. We had fish and chips and brisket burger . Both were were well prepared and tasty. Waiters are nice and service was quite fast. A good experience.
Only had food once and nothing to complain about. Got the steak frites and the steak was a little over for what I asked for but still nice. Will be looking to try their Sunday roast which looks great value. Always get served quick enough and Margaritas are £5.50 all week and are banging. Very cosy wee place inside and a great space outside.
Decent venue for meeting friends for drinks. Problematic for ordering food; table service is limited (i.e. the waiter is hardly around and you have to try and flag them the odd occasion they're bolting past) and you can't order food at the bar.
Greats service, hates edinburgh, i'm from there, we still gelled. Appreciated his honestt!
