This review actually is about Waterstones sister cafe at Sauchiehall Street but I could not find an entry for it on Trip Advisor. It's a great idea to have a cafe incorporated into Waterstones larger stores. Plenty snack options including bacon rolls on offer and all the usual hot drink options. Service was quick and friendly and the lady gave us helpful advice on how to get to Kelvingrove Museum. Recommended View all feedback.

Café W is located on the first floor of the Waterstones on Argyle Street, in a corner of the actual bookstore. The furniture is somewhat old school and combined with all the books, this café creates a nice library like atmosphere. There's free WiFi, and students get free top ups on all coffees (with a Waterstone's student card it takes 2 sec. to create and costs nothing). However, they do not make skinny coffees, whi... We went to this store and the other one at the top of the town. I had the soup which was pretty yummy. Staff are nice and prices reasonable
A nice cafe in a wonderful bookshop! If you need to use the bathroom though, you'd better buy something your receipt has the code for the toilets.

At the counter of the restaurant you can also enjoy dishes and drinks, and there is a eating area with chairs/tables. If the weather are right, you can also eat outside.
