Chen's Chinese - Glen Allen

Excellent! First time order so I picked the "safe" items Gen. Tso, egg rolls, H&S soup. Quality Chinese food you would expect from a pricier restaurant. Wished the soup had spicier heat to the taste, but overall it was excellent and I highly recommend it.

Chens is simply the best around. Steamed dumplings are superb, always get them! The food is always hot, fresh and fast. They never disappoint!!

Previously I gave Chen apos;s 5 stars. Not tonight. We had a big order Chicken with Broccoli, Barbecued Spare Ribs (5), Fried Chicken Wings (8) and Hot Sour Soup (For 1) . The soup itself was okay but the noodles were stale. The ribs were burnt. One to the point of being completely inedible ash. The chicken wings were also way overcooked so the breading was rock hard. Don apos;t know what happened since we last ordered about 6 months ago, but doubting I will waste money there again.

Usually Chens is delicious. This time it was bad. Overcooked chicken was the worst. I think it is because I ordered right before closing time.

This is the best Chinese food spot in the area, its as simple as that. Everything is delicious.
