"The Lochy is a charming establishment with great food and even better people! If you’re lucky enough to run into Nicola during a visit, you can rest assured that you’ll be very well taken care of! Definitely recommend a meal or two here and for any of my fellow Americans that may be reading this, you can be sure to get an awesome dining experience at The Lochy!"

"Highly recommend cafe/shop. I Thoroughly enjoyed my scrambled tofu wrap and chi latte. I bought some Assam tea from them so I can make my own chi."

"Will not be back. I remember visiting this restaurant when it first opened, it was busy, and food good. They won a Michelin Star and again visit was great, food and service excellent. Totally disappointing visit tonight. Overpriced and whoever employed the person pretending to...be a chef should be sacked!!. Along with the imposter pretending to be a chef!! Veg Haggis starter, not seasoned at all, bland is actually giving it credit. My blade of beef, not seasoned, mashed potatoes should have contained Mull Cheddar cheese, they didn't, and were lukewarm at best!, straw thin carrots, no flavour, scraps of bits of gravy drizzled around plate, to pretend it was something special. It wasn't. No atmosphere, few customers, Overpriced and overrated by themselves, living off a real well deserved award by a Chef who could cook. Not recommended and will not be back. £60 wasted. I remember dining in when it was full with the Michelin Star Chef, great food, great atmosphere, there was an atmosphere about the place, I revisited on the Shackleton Display, brilliant, and food excellent.night!!. I can only assume it has been taken over, by people who do not value their customers, and are living off a Star they will never achieve. I had the privilege to dine in this establishment when their Chef attained their First Michelin Star. I booked you a week in advance because I thought it would be the same. How wrong was I !! Food was under seasoned, cold, overpriced, no atmosphere There always used to be, and very busy), but not on this occasion. I would have got better food and Service for half the price in any of the Town"
