The Angry Dragon is a must for lovers of Pale Ale. On the heavier side, the MPH is a terrific imperial porter and the milk and cookies is a must for fans of a good stout. Plus, they feature a New England IPA that is one of the best in Chicago. From the owners to the bartenders, everyone is friendly and welcoming. With a large tap room, this place is great for just grabbing a beer or having large parties. Keep on brew... View all feedback.
What Melissa Karrer doesn't like about Ten Ninety Brewing Co.:
Beer was excellent, server was very friendly but they went from almost too attentive at first to nonexistent at the end. We were most disappointed in the food. Overall it seemed like the food was microwaved or reheated, especially the pretzel, cornbread, brisket, and vegetables. I’d go back for a drink but not a meal. View all feedback.
I never write 1 star reviews unless there 's a really good reason. This one had to be written. I will never go to Ten Ninety again. I know this is a brewery but they claimed to have a full bar. Since I don 't always drink beer I ordered a Martini. My usual. They didn 't have the most common Gin (Beefeater I wanted so I accepted their recommendation. My Martini was yellow and tasted terrible. Worst I 've ever tasted honestly. My explanation would be that they used possibly old vermouth (way too much that had turned yellow. My drink had zero olives let alone blue cheese olives which are the traditional standard. They just didn 't have any olives in the bar or restaurant for my drink. That 's just sad. I sent the Martini back. I tried the Imperial Wit beer which tasted good at the time but gave me a terrible headache. That was odd and unpleasant. My wife ordered Salmon. It was raw in the middle and needed to be sent back and cooked properly. I ordered a pizza which was somewhat tasty, however black and burnt on the bottom. Since I was really hungry and did not want to send it back I ate it anyway. Not too good. My wife ordered an apple cobbler which consisted of uncooked dough. Again, it went back. Raul (the manager refused to remove the cobbler from the bill but did remove the Martini. I didn 't feel it was worth arguing with Raul over the cobbler. Then Raul came over to our table and said to my wife and I, You know you guys have caused a lot of trouble for us tonight. We aren 't high end here. Wow, really? I have never, ever had any restaurant staff let alone a manager speak to me like that. And why would Raul insult us when it was his food and drinks that were terrible? If it wasn 't for Raul 's insulting comment, I would have just let it go. Now, I am forced to write this 1 Star Google review. You need to know how bad our experience was and avoid this place at all costs. Raul needs some old school manners lessons and customer service training. With Yard House (great food and drinks! right down the street at the Glen, there 's really no reason to ever set foot in Ten Ninety. I will say that the only good thing they have going there is Sophie, our waitress. She was great. If Sophie was the manager I 'm sure the dinner and the experience would have been great.
We stopped in for some appetizers and a couple of beers before the train. Wonderful Imperial Wit, and the half-Wit was good, The chicken fingers and pulled pork sliders were a good nosh to accompany the beer.Nice place, friendly service, good food and beer!I will definitely return in the future
Excellent drink, food and service! 80s cover band tonight was on point! Brewery beers were enjoy by many. On and off street parking.
