Halyard Group - Glynn County

Never reserve a high-top table for two. The food was outstanding. Our waitress was hurried/not friendly and we were set next to the bar and the outside door. The waiters and waitresses were constantly walking by us-in and out the door-which caused a draft causing it to be cold. We will return, but NOT reserve a high-top 2 person table. The table where we set should not be used. You could see the TV and the traffic by our table was too much.

The food was fabulous, the service personalized and thoughtful, and the wine selections unique tasty. We celebrated my Mother's 95th birthday and had a wonderful dinner. And we were very pleasantly surprised by how low the bill was, making the entire experience even more enjoyable! They created a very special evening for the birthday dinner which was much appreciated. Wish we lived near by as we would become regulars!

Every item served to our party of four was outstanding. Even the green beans were really good. Our server Katie was friendly and very efficient. We have dined there several times and are always pleased. Definitely on our list of favorites!

Halyards was excellent. I had the beef stir fry (asked for not too spicy) and husband had the hanger steak. Both large portions, perfectly cooked and flavorful. We cleaned our plates! Place was full but not noisy. Excellent choice to be seated in dining room or at bar, which also had several high-tops. Great atmosphere and service was six stars!! Will definitely go back. 

After 7/12 years of date nights at halyards we were very sad to hear shrimp tacos were off the menu and will not be coming back . Carol and other staff were amazing as always but I'm sad that halyards will no longer be out date night pick We didn't even call it “date night “ we called it “taco night” and this had become very special to us We would even get them to go during covid when halyards was closed and eat them in the car. I hope they re consider
