"My only regret is it took me 3 coffees to find Black Coffee Lyrics. After that it was the only place. The staff are friendly, decor very cool, the coffee is brilliant. It's a bit difficult to find and when they say they open for breakfast at 8am thats more of a guidline, which is a shame."

"What a memorable evening! Greeted by welcoming friendly staff and given a beautiful view overlooking the beach. The food was amazing!! 5 out of 5 for sure!! So much detail went into both the entree and main, a testament to the chef and his crew. The flavours were mind blowing! For all you “foodies” out there, I implore you to eat at this restaurant, you will be so happy you did. From SA and can’t wait to get back to Coolangatta to eat here again."

"Mum came to visit from NSW. She loves lamb so I decided to take her out to dinner at Taboon. Excellent service, delicious food and very reasonable prices. Mum said the lamb was the best she's had in years. We both loved the whole experience."

"We ordered takeaway for lunch today to celebrate my parents' 46th wedding anniversary and all 4 of us (my parents, my hubby and I) were extremely impressed with the quality of the Asian cuisine. We ordered Thai curry, Szechuan Chicken, Beef Rendang, BBQ pork with veg and Singapore noodles. It was plenty of food to each of us to enjoy seconds and also have leftovers for my parents. Each meal was delicious and my mum was thrilled with the flavours of the Thai curry. Pricing was what you would expect for good quality Asian cuisine. We absolutely will be back."

"Not only does this place have some of the best and authentic European/ Balkan food you'll get on the gold coast. The food, along with the atmosphere is something you won't believe you've gone your life without having experienced. The host and wait staff are great and pleasant and will help you choose the right meal for you if you're not sure what to get. If you come to the gold coast and don't eat here then you're truly missing out, a must visit!!!"
