"We've never had such a bad New Year! A lot of money for nothing. Room: was large BUT: very run down: wallpaper above the window was missing, curtains torn, hem broken, cupboard almost fell apart when opened, mattresses sagging, lighting very spartan, tiles missing in the bathroom and very old. Food: We booked a 3-course and a 5-course evening menu. 3 course not edible, schnitzel and duchess potatoes from the deep fryer! And on cold plates. Before and after dinner with all dignity. 5 course menu: (on New Year's Eve) 1st course consisted of a GLASS OF SPARKLING WINE! 2nd course looked like dessert. Puff pastry with filling. 3rd course soup was ok. 4th course main course: standard meal with Pfanni mashed potatoes and cold beans on a cold plate. 5 course: Tiramisu, which wasn't. Service: very uncoordinated. No learned powers. Plate worn on stomach. Asked the same questions several times. Nobody knew where to go. Wrong food for the guest etc. Breakfast buffet kept very small, croissants burnt. Conclusion: Never again! A lot of money left there for nothing! Rooms: Bad like that Food drinks: Bad like that"

"The torch garden is beautifully located directly on the water between Plauer See and the canal. Also the marina is not far.The torch garden makes its name all honor in the evening, the outdoor area is brightly illuminated with many torches and dips the terrace and garden into a wonderful light. While waiting for the food, one observes the ships that pass or look at the moon that is reflected in the water. The map is small but fine fish,Pasta ,regional specialties. At our main food comes a small greeting from the kitchen.Also the staff is friendly,flink and very attentive. We speisten: truffle spaghetti with fried pikes you never want to eat anything else in Mecklenburg fish pot. Fish with vegetables and roasted vegetable chips with bread very delicious tasty veal pastries with onionchutney, potato swamp very delicate and super delicious. Super delicious food, dreamy atmosphere,nette flinkes staff of this place sets standards without being lifted!"

"Quiet location, but still within easy walking distance of everything. Good breakfast with little crowding at the buffet. Only fly screens on the windows would have been nice. Safe in the room should be a given in a 4 star hotel. Charging costs for an electric car are too high. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet"

"Wir waren sehr angenehm überrascht über den herzlichen und familiären Empfang in dem kleinen Hotel. Alles läuft sehr unkompliziert und "kundenfreundlich" ab, wobei wir uns nicht nur als Kunden gefühlt haben. Das Essen war schnell serviert und überaus üppig. Auch Qualität und Geschmack war sehr gut. Wer allerdings 5 Sterne Küche übersichtlich dekoriert auf silbernen Platten angerichtet erwartet, ist in dem mittelalterlich angehauchten Ambiente falsch beraten. Hier ist es etwas rustikaler aber dennoch kein Stück schlechter. Preis-Leistung passt auf jeden Fall!!!Schade, dass unser Besuch so kurz war!"
