"Such a lovely experience, the meal was great from starter to mains. The service was fantastic and despite it being a busy Friday night with end of year/ exams we could have been the only table with the level of attendance and care shown to us. 10/10 would recommend and can’t wait to come back the next time we are in town."

"The vibe is awesome, mostly dominated by varsity pupil, understandably so this is Makhanda. However tables are not cleaned before are guests seats. Getting your own drinks from the bar is the option otherwise you'll wait forever"

"We stopped here for a mid afternoon snack. They have a lovely courtyard and the service was relaxed and friendly.<br/ <br/ We had some hot chocolate which was lovely. I then had some lemon meringue pie, it was perfectly balanced and had a lovely lemon zing! My sister had a red velvet cupcake which she really enjoyed."

"This is the most fantastic place but better still the coffee and top of the tops the crème de la crème cheesecake. You won't go wrong to pop in for a take away or better still linger over a coffee and chat or arrange to have a Covid compliant meeting at the Gaol! I've done all three but the cheesecake... is to die for"
