this is a beautiful small bakery for a fast snack and coffee. we made it too routine to stop each morning for a baked and a coffee!

The aroma captures you at the door. Coffee and fresh baked goods, everything you could ask for. A must stop on Grand Manan.

"We stopped in for dinner and drinks and it was exceptional. I had an Old Fashioned and I have to say, it might have been the best one I've ever had. (And, friends, let me tell you, I hail from bourbon country, so I am careful when it comes to lavishing praise on a bourbon drink. This one deserves praise. Our appetizer lived up to its name as it was appetizing and our main course—the chicken and waffle—was a perfect blend of sweet and savory. I especially liked that the chicken was not breaded and fried. The bed of cheesy polenta, bacon garnish, and maple balsamic syrup sent this dish to the next level. The service was friendly and efficient, especially for this part of Maine where staffing is always scarce. You'd be hard pressed to have a better view while enjoying a meal in Lubec."

"Wife and I had dinner there after having lunch at TripAdvisor’ number 3 restaurant,The Pier,which was fantastic! Thinking number one must be better,not so. We shared fried clams as a appetizer they were good but not great. We both had lobster roll and compared to...the Pier,not even close. Wife had Greek salad,said it was fresh and good. I also had the lobster stew some what cold but good. We ate in the screened in porch area ,somewhat dirty,trash can overflowing,door left open,full of flys and mosquitoes. Stew served without spoon,no salt and pepper,no napkins,etc,had to go get them ourselves."

"I had the best piece of salmon in my life. It literally melted away in my mouth. The sweet potato fries were thin and crispy and the spinach berry salad was excellent. So fresh and crisp! The staff is so friendly and the ambiance is lively."

"We stopped here on our way back to our vacation stay from Campobello island for a pre-dinner snack. Yes, we are on vacation, so we eat 5 meals a day. We ordered a lobster roll, crab roll, and haddock bites with fries. Everything was delicious. After eating more than my share of lobster rolls across Maine, this was good. The crab roll, on the other hand, is totally underrated in the state of Maine from my point of view. The crab roll here is also delicious, filled with the sweet, delicate crab meat, in a New England style hot dog bun, requires no work to chowing it down. The haddock bites were lightly breaded and fried, dipped in malt vinegar, is flaky, delicate, and falls apart in your mouth. They are not open very long during the day, and sometimes closes during bad weather per the sign. Stop by for lunch, snack, early dinner, its good."

"We had an excellent stay with an amazing view.The bedding was comfortable and the room was clean. We stayed in the sunset room. It was nice to be down on the end and relax. Loved the common area. Everything was clean and neat.Hopefully we will be back again! Lubec is a beautiful town away from all heavily traveled areas to the south. This is definitely worth the visit."

"Absolutely outstanding service by a young energetic wait staff. The food was amazing, full of flavour and perfectly cooked and well presented with good size portions. Only down side, albeit minor, is the level of noise especially for our 6.30 booking (plus we're old). But this did not detract from a great meal and I have no hesitation in recommending Chin Chin and we'll be back."

"We were looking for something to eat in the little town of Lubec, and this place was recommended to us. We got the BLT and a turkey sandwich. The bread was fresh. The sandwich was stuffed full of meat and veggies. Pleasantly surprised by this little place!"
