"Our grandparents are islanders and we always have to make our daily trips to the well house for our Java repair! Staff are always so welcoming and the consistency is the same season after the season. Prices are extremely reasonable given the experience you receive while you are there. "We expected the long wait and the early closing. We didn 't expect to get passed over in line and losing our table. We ended up sitting in the lounge which is just a couple over-stuffed chairs and a couch in a dimly lit corner of the dining room. It felt like the kids ' table if the kids were victims of neglect. The smoked fish appetizer was odd. It came with too few crackers, just one fork (thought it was meant for two people), and no napkins (which we had to go fetch for ourselves). The burgers were pretty good, but again we had to ask for napkins, silverware and ketchup. No one came to refill water or ask if we needed another round of drinks. The people are nice and are trying their best. But they are understaffed and are struggling to keep up. There are few options in Lubec and this is probably the best of the offerings, so if you visit you 'll probably end up here. My advice: have patience and be flexible. And for god 's sake, avoid the lounge !"

"We loved our little apartment, Bayview. We relaxed on our deck, watching the sunset every night, and woke up to the brightest sunrise every morning! Gorgeous views and sunny weather for the entire week! Best and freshest food at the Wharf all meals! We enjoyed our walks, checked out Mowry beach! Places to visit Quoddy Heady Light house and Eastport, downtown Lubec, tour McCurdy Smokehouse, and enjoy homemade ice cream!"
