"I had dinner there after visiting the picturesque Val de Travers near Neuchâtel. It is wise to book a table in advance as the restaurant was full (Saturday evening). The restaurant is located right in the middle of the tiny village and a 3 minute walk...from Môtiers railway station. The dining room is nicely decorated and quite cozy. Service was smiling and attentive throughout the entire dinner. However it was slow at the beginning nearly 45 minutes between my arrival and the starter course! Fortunately service was much quicker afterwards. Food is delicious and the menu leaves much room to Val de Travers and Neuchâtel local products. As starter I opted for the Terrine de foie gras à l 'hydromel (i.e. flavoured with mead) unusual and with a delicate taste. As main course I chose the hearty Grenadin de veau aux chanterelles the veal medaillons were perfectly cooked and served with delicious chanterelle mushrooms and homemade tagliatelles. The dessert was a tribute to Val de Travers: a tasty soufflé glacé topped with absinth. Prices are at Swiss standards. I will definitely come back to this restaurant. Toilets spotlessly clean."
