"A must-go place for ice cream with great value and wonderful flavors! Never expect that in a tourist area. I literally went there every other day during my stay. Love its pineapple sorbetto, not a common flavor in ice cream shops, def try that if you’re a pineapple lover! :"

"I cannot rate the tapas here highly enough for a large group. I’ve had some bad ones before. Fresh, tasty, colourful and great portions. Service was nicely friendly and prompt. Wish I lived closer so I can come again."

"Not ok any day let alone easter sunday roast beef small 3 slices makin 1 decent slice. Just warm left hard chewy roasts ? Instant mash sloppy, yorkshires dry n soft, savoy cabbage n leeks un appetising, very basic peas n corn, red cabbage tasted awful, his chicken n ham dry tasteless thin gravy we were very disappointed, not worth £14 each, wont risk goin again it ruined our day out. Usually go local get 2lge slices Beef or ham or turkey, crispy Yorkshires n hot roasts, sweetheart cabbage, new potatoes, cauliflouer cheese, carrots, 2 lots nice hot gravy also hav lots boxes fruit or mince pies sqirty cream free 2 x roasts only £15.90 not £28 dont ever want to go there again left us dissatisfied n broke not havin a drink or sweet overpriced also flat and boring do much better myself"

"This review is strictly on the afternoon tea experience only. The food was absolutely wonderful, the lady who served food and the male staff (presumed the owner) were both very kind and friendly. I felt that the afternoon tea was an absolute treat since there was nothing to fault with, that was only until it was ruined by the rude woman who was driving past in black 4x4 (presumed female host). After we finished the afternoon tea, I decided to let my dog out from our car to let him stretch his legs before we set off, the rude woman mentioned above asked me if I was looking for a public footpath so I answered no. She then started to lecture me about the ‘no dog policy’ in the property as well as pointing a direction to the public footpath I did not ask. She drove further towards the car park and parked there, got out of her, and started to tell me off in the most rude way possible again. I explained that we just had an afternoon tea here and we’re about to leave. She then turned around started to take stuff out of her boot mumbling loud “stupid..blah blah” in the angry tone, which by the way was clear for me to hear even though I was at least a few feet away from her. I was so bewildered and frustrated at how this perfectly lovely experience went down the hill like this si quickly. Hence I took two stars off even though I did enjoy the food here. Whoever that woman was, please make sure that they cannot behave that way to a guest."

"The cafe is nice and provides good food but some prices are unreasonable. £4.00 for 2 slices of buttered toast but an extra £1.00 for jam or marmalade is a bit tight. Come on Lakeland, do you really need to Milk customers for the small amount of jam it would take to make the toast a good option."

"We had Cod with Parmentier Potatoes....5 of them, 5 tiny squares of potato, the meal was £23.30, we couldnt believe it so asked the waiter if this was normal...he said it was. Thankfully we had ordered a root veg side which topped up our half empty plates!."
