"What a dinner in Speyside! The food was fabulous starting with the appetisers that were presented so beautifully. The main dishes of chicken and beef were just as delicious but we ate them so quickly that there was no time for photos. The bar was wonderfully curated. And dessert, ice cream bomb, very yummy! The staff was super friendly and welcoming, made us feel like locals. The Croft Inn is a little out of the way but so worth the gorgeous drive which by the way was close to Glenlivet Distillery. Thank you for this memorable Highlands experience!!"

"The restaurant is small and cosy with a relaxed vibe. It was very busy on a Friday night so I'm glad we booked a table! I'd checked when booking that they definitely offer vegan options, and they'd remembered before we arrived they'd already put the separate vegan menu out for us on our table. The menu is pretty good including several starters (haggis balls, loaded skins etc . 6 mains options, including two types of burger (the cairngorm was delicious! Dessert options too. Apparently one of their staff is vegan and I think it shows. Even just having vegan cheese for burgers and vegan condiments on offer is a nice touch you don't always get in other places. A great option for dining out if you're in the area."

"This place does pie and chips.... out a choice of maybe 10 pies, 2 were vegan and 1 veggie. Really very good pies! Worth a visit if in the area. Dog friendly too :"

"We had a lovely evening meal here with my brother and sister in law during a week in the Cairngorms. Service was excellent and it was a cosy, relaxed environment. The Sgian Dubh starter (haggis with neeps and tatties in a whisky cream sauce) was...the perfect size for a starter and the Speyside salmon was excellent as a main course. I can’t remember what the others had but they were all very impressed with the quality of the food."

"This is a gem of a place, great selection of food for breakfast, lunch or just a quick snack. We had a selection of cakes and scones, all of which were delicious. It is a really busy place, popular with locals and tourists."

"We spent an evening at the pub since our initial accommodations were cancelled and we could only find lodging in Tomintoul bartender/hotel owner let us try several kinds of whisky as we weren't too familiar and focused on what we liked/disliked. 10/10 would recommend visiting just for the bar alone, great stories, great atmosphere, great guy. Service: 5 Location: 5"

"Had a lovely evening meal there last week. We were let down by another establishment and whilst wandering the high street we decided to try the Kitchen. This was a great decision, the food was tasty and plentiful, very fair prices for food and wine! Recommended!"
