"Shoal creek is so good! The service and food were both great. I sat at the bar and Ashley was so helpful. She was quick with our order and made really delicious drinks as well as being super friendly and knowledgeable. The Shoal Creek bread was the perfect warm, cheesy appetizer. "I feel the need to express the disappointment of our experience on Tuesday night at Mason Dixie. I booked 2 groups at M D for a business dinner, both had reservations well in advance and I was assured they were able to accommodate both groups by the owner. One of our groups had a 90 minute wait for food, and when the food arrived it was inedible. Several people reported needing to cut meatloaf with their steak knife. Our other group tried to get up and leave to eat elsewhere but was literally blocked at the door by waitstaff. Two individuals in this group did not receive their food at all, the entire party was done eating when they decided to cancel their orders and leave hungry. With ample time to prepare, running out of items such as pop is unacceptable. I am disappointed in the fact that you assured me that you were able to accommodate 2 large groups and that was not the case. Whether more training or staff is needed, please be realistic with your abilities to accommodate large groups next time someone inquires. Meal type: Dinner Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"I am somewhat underwhelmed. We got a supreme pizza with Texas crust and it was middle-quality. The ingredients were okay, but did not enjoy the Texas crust because it was soggy. Actually, the whole pizza was soggy. Garlic cheese bread was pricey at $6 for one 6 inch piece. The service was pretty bad.. there was only one waitress left in the restaurant, but her shift ended during our meal, and after that there was no waitstaff in the restaurant, only employees making pizza. The restaurant was clean, but very cold. Overall it was okay, but we will not be revisiting."
