"I visited family in Nevada City and we wanted to find out what we have to eat. I accidentally found Diego with Google Maps. Since no one had eaten there before we checked the menu and all agreed, it sounded good. I had the shrimp enchiladas and I can honestly say that they were probably the best enchiladas I had in the last 10 years. The sauce was super delicious with a touch of spicy and the shrimps were perfectly cooked. Rice and beans and grilled vegetables were a perfect combination. All the others have the Tacos and the Portobello plate. It is enough to say that everyone was satisfied with his meals. I'm from the Bay Area and we have some pretty amazing Mexican/Latin food so I didn't expect so good food in Grass Valley. I would definitely recommend Diego to anyone who lives or crosses the Grass Valley. They have outdoor seating and a cool funky vibe/decor. Next time I have to try their desserts!"

"This is our favorite sit-down Mexican food I’m Grass Valley. BUT, the service needs attention. While the food is delicious, we know we have to commit to a full hour (at least) for dinner service. On our last visit our waiter was literally running and working his hardest. The support staff who fills up waters and chips seemed like she would’ve rather been anywhere but there. I really wish they would hire at least one more server to handle their busy times."

"The pancakes were almost 15$ and came without syrup! The eggs were rubbery and unseasoned and cold and the potatoes were also under seasoned and cold, and the hollandaise was almost 6$ for a tiny little to go cup and was also cold. I usally love to eat at south pine but I will NEVER door dash it again."

"18 dollars for one and a half cups of tikka Masala.... bruh, first time ordering and never again. I never leave reviews, it's for the birds. but this deserves to be known. People work to hard for this. Just tasted it, it's really really good but only 4 pieces of chicken. I'm just saying there is other places in town. Even briar patch has tikka masala for 11.99 a pound and this weighed out to 14 oz lol and there the most expensive place I know lol...."
