"My wife I have been going to the various Sammies locations for about 20 years now so they are doing things right! My favorite is their gyros and a banana shake. I also love their deep-fried mushrooms. As a lot of other take-out restaurants have done, they ask the customer to give the counter person a tip which seems unnecessary since their wages are built into the cost of the food. They are a little expensive."

"I've eaten here about 5 times, the staff is the epitome of kind and accommodating. Polite and courteous. The burgers are all amazing I've tried a different one each time and have loved every bite. If you like a good burger this is one place that shouldbe at the top of everyone's list. I have no doubt that the locals already know so this is more for those passing through thearea. "Updated review to add pictures: A COMMUNITY STAPLE! We've been to Fred's many times years ago but then we moved away. Now that we've moved back, we were hoping COVID-19 didn't close them down. We are so grateful that it's still there! Same great service from the same staff, same classic American menu, same feel-good/feels-like-home vibes. There's cool art pieces and pictures to commemorate local servicemen and women. Things we've ordered and enjoyed: Eggs Benedict, Spanish Omelette, Corned Beef Hash, Steak Eggs, pancakes, waffles, and all the classics. Great family-owned business to support!"
