"This gem was a bit hard to find as it is currently covered in scaffolding while the outside is being renovated. The food, ambiance and service were all excellent. A great menu we actually opted for the vegetarian, not that we are vegetarians it just looked so appetizing. They offered to make mine non dairy because of lactose intolerance, and used soya cream very effectively. Highly recommended £25 per person all in for a very nice and filling hors d'oeuvre and a great main course. Highly recomended."

"We had an amazing lunch here. We were warmly welcomed and everyone was very friendly. We opted for the Club Sandwich which was massive! The ingredients were all fresh and it tasted great. All washed down with a few pints of Ghost Ship while sitting in the nice beer garden. We will definitely be back when we are in the area again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"Has been listed as one of the best fishing and chip sites in Alfaoft and they are not wrong. for the standard size and glad that we did as not think would have made the big one. the fish was excellent, tightly broken, so there were no parts of the teig that was only air, and it was cooked to perfection. a good part of the chips accompanies him. dolphin is not on the front or on the main street, but not far away, so if they are looking for an excellent dish, they will look out to them, they will not be disappointed."

"Have been wanting to go here for a while and finally got the time to book and go. Wow it did not disappoint. The staff and venue were very welcoming. It felt warm and homely in the bar and a great set up for dogs... especially with their doggie dinners! Didn't have a dog but if I had one this would be my go to place! We sat in the restaurant area where the carvery set up is and it was beautifully decorated. A little cramped with all the tables but it worked. The food options were plentiful and for someone who's fussy I had plenty of options. The food tasted amazing also and already we can't wait to go back. The only downside is my partner said it got really loud and couldn't hear me well as the evening went on and it got busier. It felt like the room echoed. There was a kid next to us using the radiator as a road for its toy car and a birthday party on the table on the other side of us with kids, so pretty loud. And the other thing is the car park is a bit tight but nothing they can do about that of course. All in all looking forward to going back asap!"
