OK so first off we didn't even mean to come here but I was with my nephew and we tried to find another beer place but couldn't find it called Matt but we ended up here and my nephew said they had a good beer supply. I usually drink wine (red) but had a old fashion and loved it View all feedback.

I'm new in the opposite and looking for a new affordable. it is very a small group of masters in there. Bartender was awesome. Wish they had a wider variety of drinks but it's a smaller bar so the space is limited.
They were very gracious and helpful for my mom's 60th surprise party. It was nice to find a hall that you could bring in food. Your typical WI classic bar.
I have never been past the highway ramp on 84th street going north so when I saw this old school gas light west cocktails sign I busted a U turn because I'm going to have the experience of having a couple cocktails here. The woman bar tender Terry was very friendly and offered me some Sunday beef sandwich the bar had which was cool because I have never been here before. Terry like every bartender has no clue what a gin Rickey but she did a good job at making it. The place is from the 70s I'm told and it looks it, old school neighborhood corner dive bar. It's all regulars and no one made me feel like an outsider and I had a conversation with the guy next to me and the bartender so it's not a clickie place like some. The cocktails are reasonable at $4 for what I had. I'm shopping at the mall from time to time so I will stop back again for sure.

I recently moved to the area and was seeking a new neighborhood bar to visit. Upon entering, I noticed it was mainly a small group of regulars present. I almost felt as though I was intruding on a private gathering. The layout of the bar was a bit cramped, with one side situated too close to the wall, making it difficult to navigate to my seat without asking others to move. While the bartender was polite, they didn't make much effort to engage me in conversation or help break the ice with fellow patrons. Overall, I have no major complaints about the establishment, but I didn't find it particularly welcoming either.
