"I'm an old Florida boy with a deep seeded love for Sonny's BBQ. That said, I've had BBQ in ALL the well known areas for BBQ (Kansas city, Memphis, st Louis etc . Mutts is now my favorite place for BBQ. The ribs fall off the bone and melt in your mouth. The fried chicken and greens? Haven't had this tasty since my granny died. The Mac and cheese was just right. Potato salad is a hit or miss for me. Mutts fires on all cylinders. The BBQ chicken is moist and tender. The desserts are meh but let's be honest, you're not there for the desserts. The only thing that could possibly make mutts better is the meat could be a bit smokier and some sliced pork shoulder would be nice. The fried okra was super crispy and flavorful. Service was good and attentive. Friendly place all around. The buffet was like $12 (lunch . How do you beat that? The sauces were all tasty but ultimately I settled on the sweet and Smokey.(Florida boy, remember? . I'll be back and bring friends with me. I live in asheville nc and BBQ had lost its way here. Too fru fru!! $17 for 4 tiny strips of brisket with some BS reduction of yak spleen compote etc??? Get bent! Mutts is what BBQ should be...tasty, reasonably priced in a down to earth atmosphere. See ya in 2 weeks!!!"

"It was ok. The staff was friendly, and the food was good. I had the burrito calofornia, with chicken. But I ran out of chicken about halfway through. The onlons, though... should have been called burrito cebolla. Aside from that, the flavor was good. Nothing tasted bad."

"This was Friday at 11:30...ca. 5 or 6 cars in the parking lot. I went to the car thru and ordered a hotdog plate with tea....wet in the window after the car before me (5 minutes) her order I got next....sit on the window, paid and waited about 10 minutes...Blies my horn and no one came, so I went in to see what the problem was with a simple hotdog plate. the waitress was rudely told me it would be just a few minutes because the riders still had to cook, they still cook fresh. finally got my order (20 minutes,) went to home. the fries were so hard and cold. jimmy sat there and watched, but on the phone and arthur went around they must get help, that is not rude and cook that knows how to cook. it will take time to come back."
