"You know how it is...you have a great experience at a venue, your expectations are high but your next visit just doesn't live up to your memory. NOT SO, at Peckish. For lunch or just coffee...solo, with a mate, with the family...it's always good. The two person tables at the front are a bit tight at lunch and perhaps they could switch up the menu more often, but this is nitpicking. Highly recommend!"

"We have had two dinners here. For the first we were very hungry and decided on the seafood platter for two. What a great spread: a large variety of seafood, the breaded fish/scallops etc were well-done, all fish were extremely fresh and tasty. We were very pleased. The second night we were here we weren't very hungry so we chose the chicken caesar salads. Again, the food was well-prepared and very tasty. We would venture to guess that everything from the kitchen is worthwhile eating. Service was great. Wine choices, were maybe not that great, but there really is no bad Tasmanian wine, and there are plenty of good mainland wines for the picky. Price for the seafood platter was very reasonable for a pair of Canadians who don't get much good seafood where we come from. Highly, highly recommended."

"We thought that we should try the place after searching Google, and we are thankful we did. The tea was colourful and different and definitely tasty, and the food was made to order for us (and they did actually change a dish to suit my weird taste) and it all was TASTY... But the highlight of this place are the staff, interacting with the customers, always seemed to make everyone smile. A DEFINITE VISIT."

"Ordered seafood feast for two cheese garlic bread, generous portion, all seafood was fresh. Best octopus ever!!! Also love the squid, so tender. We were full, couldn't finish, couldn't have dessert, did take the leftover food away. Highly recommend"
