What User likes about Jalapeno's Mexican:
It's a little mom-pop place. We live here in Grover City and it is a beautiful place with a cool atmosphere away from the Pismo crowds. The food is good and also the margaritas. The service is good and always pleasant. I am a Carne Asada-Taco fan of her, they are bigger than a typical street taco, and not greasy. Your salsa is decent and it is fresh when you order it. What User doesn't like about Jalapeno's Mexican:
(this is actually from a year ago.) hopefully they have improved, but I will never go back: the absolutely rude waitress and ridiculous prizes. the chip bowl is tiny and high in the center, so keeps less chips, then load them $2.50 for additional bowl. the atmosphere was terrible because the waitress was so rude and curly. when she asked if we were done and we answered yes, did she answer? well?. get $1 banquet frozen dinner. on the same quality of food.
