"We found this place listed in Google and were staying nearby at a farm so we decided to try it. We ended up eating here 4 times in 3 days! It is a very nice restaurant with an amazing view of the mountains. You can eat either indoors or outdoors - all with a view. Every dish was hand-crafted including the soup and desserts. They even had a nice kids menu with real food on it (rather than chips and only fried food.) They also have a very nice playground in the back to keep the kiddies entertained!Often you find local restaurants to be average and salty but this was definitely not the case. The prices are very reasonable. The only drawback is you can't be in a hurry, esp on a holiday! It can take a very long time even for the starter course. But at least you know everything is being made fresh and with tlc."

"Keine luxuriöse Gasthaus aber sauber und gemütlich! Essen schmeckt ausgezeichnet und Service sehr sehr freundlich.Wenn die Gastgeberin, Haus Chefin auch an ihren Freundlichkeit noch arbeiten werde , dann wird einfach perfekt . Zum jeder Tages zeit zum empfehlen."

"The place is ok, nothing extraordinary and nothing bad, a very great choice of dressing, eating is good, the only problem is that most dishes are served with so-called “salt from the bar”, the probably typical austrian salads are all with...cream or mayonnaise, nothing “clean”. if they want, they will like this place."

"Our waiter was extremely nice and accommodating. A table was prepared for us 8 pax in an uncomplicated and timely manner. The fish dishes were excellent and the pastries highly recommended. The location at the Toplitzsee was well attended due to/thanks to the continuous rain. Very pleasant ambience for our South Africa reunion . Lovely again! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"A large hidden place with beautiful people and themselves made traditional dishes and Austrian wine. We visited Gmunden with friends and we wanted to eat something traditional, and it was perfect. They were very friendly with us, we felt like sitting at home in the dining room. I would highly recommend the restaurant for a unique experience and meet the beautiful owners."
