Dairy Queen Grill Chill - Guelph

I parked in the nearly empty lot paid $20 for mini Blizzards and then walked to the park with my kid to eat them. When I got back, I had a $40 parking ticket. Very frustrating.

Ordered medium dipped cone and medium cone in a cup total was $11.79. I have not paid that price all summer, and did not pay it today. Not only that but prices at all the Guelph DQ stores differ by about a $1.10 for a dipped cone and $1.33 for a medium cone in a cup. Some DQ's in town all charge a higher price than is posted in their store signage. Who knew icream was like gas very different prices around town. Can you imagine if every Tim's charged a different price for coffee or donuts around town? Ridiculous.

Very good location. Neat and clean. We purchased chocolate cake but was not sure that there was any nuts in the cake. We wanted to exchange. The girl served us with smiles when we first purchased the cake. But when we went there and asked about exchange, they said that there may be no nuts, so we decided to keep the cake. However one staff was not polite. He rudely asked us, “hey! Did you pay?” Overall ok service but customer service is not good. I will not go this store again.

Under construction. No windows.Also, they don’t make banana splits here!

I don't know what all these bad reviews are about. I love this place. Been here a good amount of times since I moved to Guelph and though they can be slow at times, I give them credit because most of the staff are students and they are doing their best! Food is average Dairy Queen food, good in my opinion.
