I took my mother for lunch on her birthday. The food was delicious. We both had the Gravadlax and wild mushroom risotto, then shared the apple brioche tatin and chocolate brownie. Portion were just right for lunch. The service friendly and unhurried. Will definitely return and recommend to others. View all feedback.
What Joel Lee doesn't like about Britten's:
Portion size was smaller than expected to nouvelle cuisine standards. It was the first evening open after several days closed, so maybe there wasn't sufficient stock for a fuller meal. The side of potatoes was, however substantial, and the food quality and taste was excellent. The wine was reasonable value for money and the service was attentive without being overbearing.
