I arrived on a date and the place was buzzy full of people, so make sure to book well in advance. Bookings are staggered well and there is a turning over of the table so if you're early, expect to be leaving at the... View all feedback.
What Christian Sturt doesn't like about The Cricketers Inn:
The staff were nice, but the food wasn't great and certainly not value for money £10 for a small slice of cheesecake! . They didn't have half of the roasts, and the roast pork was mainly fat. The veg were all soggy and mixed together and all tasted the same. You would get a far better roast at a carvery for half the price. The pub was charming, but the Sunday lunch was very disappointing. Our entire group found fault with the roast dinners. The lamb was cooked too much and the beef was chewy and lacking in flavor. The vegetables were served separately, and it took a long time for the gravy to be brought out. Overall, the experience was not satisfying.

The breakfast at this restaurant was terrible. We had been here for a Christmas breakfast last year and decided to return today. We were disappointed to find that they had Prosecco, Bellinis, and liquor on the breakfast menu, but were informed that alcohol is not served until 11am when we tried to order some Prosecco with our meal.
