Called for brunch and had the meat-free breakfast. This was 2 eggs on toast plus a selection of 3 extras. I went for tomatoes, black pudding and mushrooms, all for only five! Amazing value and delicious. The garden is well maintained and the people there were beautiful. Also dog friendly. Definitely will return. My friend had the cheese omelet with beans, as well as delicious. read more.

Stopped off for some breakfast last Thursday at about 9.30am, en route to Highclere Castle (aka Downton Abbey). Sign says only 2 people at the counter at a time and as the cafe wasn't busy, we duly waited at the door...and waited....and waited... while the...member of staff behind the counter chatted at length to the two men at the counter. Best cafe around the area, loveley English breakfast, nice and clean and very fast service, beautiful and well maintained garden

"Chinese new year 2022. the restaurant was packed (with East Asia, also to myself, which is always a good sign) but the compromise between service and quality of food. it was so tasty, fresh, and the tee and scurry were regularly refreshed. great menu. not huge, but had everything we wanted, and some new things we had not tried before. they even grabbed my rest until home.
