Very good veg food and decent menu options too. With majority of muslim population in Srinagar, it is quite a good find. It is definitely worth giving a try;

As it is difficult to find vegan food in Srinagar because of the muslim population, this restaurant serves authentic vegan food with good number of varieties......

"We were staying at the Hotel Alpine Ridge, so we had dinner at the Alpine Lounge which is the restaurant of the hotel. The place is well designed & spacious, but dimly lit with loud music & there was a large Punjabi Group who were a bit drunk and were behaving a little Boisterous. This was a major put off. They kept on with their revelry until the Manager came, put off the music & told them to stop dancing & prancing around. The food also was quite average & nothing to really write home about. I am sure that there are better restaurants in Gulmarg that serve good food too."

"Went there while returning from Gulmarg. We were really hungry and wanted to try this place basis the reviews on TripAdvisor. I wanted to try the Kashmiri local cuisine so I asked the guy there for his recommendation. He recommended a mutton and one chicken...dish and even told us if we do not like the food he will have that replaced.I totally loved the mutton dish. Though the pieces were looking big ,it was actually melt in mouth. Chicken gravy was also good .But Mutton Kurma was the star.Must eat when you return from Gulmarg"
