my partner j and I decided to drive from canberra and visit the cork street cafe and gallery in gundaroo for pizza one of the weeks. I called before to check if they were open on Sunday and book while I was there. gundaroo is a 35-minute drive from canberra. not far if you're just trying to get out of town. the cork street caffe is located on the beautiful garden area of the old gundaroo police station (with which must see the earthquake before place) with a selection at indoor or outdoor dining options. their pizzas and large salads are the best we have ever eaten (many vegetarian options also) and the customer service is 5 stars. everyone is welcome, including their dog friend. they are licensed so that they can weep...
